FAQ’S
What kind of equipment do you use?
I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV. I love my 24-70 2.8 II and especially my 70-200 2.8 II. Every once and awhile I will use my 50 mm.
Can we post our photos on social media?
Of course! Just make sure to tag me. Avoid any color adjusting, cropping, or any other adjustments such as filters. This keeps my photos pure and my style uninterrupted. Thanks!
How do you edit your photos?
I hand edit all my photos. Some photographers use presets, but I like to allow my editing style to respond to my photos, not the other way around. The colors & lighting that God gave us is irreplaceable. Hopefully, you will see this in my natural editing style.
Do you provide sneak peeks?
Yes! For weddings, sneak peeks are returned in 2 days.
When should we expect our photos delivered to us?
Wedding photographs are sent to you within 5-8 weeks. Family and portrait sessions are generally returned within 2-4 weeks.
What should I wear to my portrait session?
I would recommend wearing something unique & true to yourself. For families, I would consider not clashing with each other’s outfits. Try to color coordinate without “matching”. Avoid logos, distracting patterns and bright colors around the face and neck.
Is there a retainer fee?
Yes, I operate by a 10% non-refundable retainer fee on all services.
Do you require a shot list?
For Weddings, I do request that brides put together a formal list of family groupings that they will need post-ceremony. This is to make sure things are timely and that nothing is missed. Oftentimes, there is always a need to catch certain lighting.
How many photos can we expect to get?
For Weddings, expect to get anywhere between 150-200 edited photos. I would probably estimate on the heavier side. I try to be generous! For other portraits, expect to get anywhere from 20 - 50, depending on the shoot length and the variety of pictures taken.
